i guess the phrase “you never realize what you have until it’s gone” is true. every day we take so much for granted just because it’s always been there for us to have. we rarely ever take the time to appreciate things anymore. we go through life every day without acknowledging all of the wonderful things that we are given. most of what we are given we don’t even deserve to have because we never pay any attention to how hard someone had to work in order to provide us with it. i’ve been in the same type of situation as you’re currently in; i’ve lost those that i love and there is no way for me to get them back. i suppose that this is a life lesson of sorts for us. i suppose that this situation occurs in order for us to realize that things change and people won’t wait forever. sooner or later people will get fed up with you. they’ll stop wanting to deal with all the crap that you give them. they’ll stop loving you because what you provide them with isn’t love, and if it is then it may not be the love that they feel that they deserve. sooner or later people won’t be able to deal with the pain anymore and sooner or later they’ll just leave. more than anything, i think that this situation should be used as a lesson. instead of excepting someone to always be there no matter what we should make those we love feel comfortable and happy. we should provide them with every ounce of love in our bodies and we should do anything in our power to make them happy because that’s what makes us happy. love is difficult and love hurts. losing someone so close to you is one of the most painful things in the world. all you want to do is just lock yourself in your room and cry for hours and nothing can stop you from doing just that. if you have the chance to you should get up and run, run to his house. you knock on his door and as soon as he opens it you should hug him, hug him and never let go. cry if you must, but you have to tell him how you really feel. explain to him that he was the greatest thing that’s ever happened to you and tell him that you love him. tell him that he’s the reason you’re happy and tell him that your life isn’t the same without him. tell him that you’re sorry for the way you treated him and tell him that you’d do anything in the world to change it. if he loves you as much as you love him then he’ll understand. love is love no matter how much it hurts and no matter how much it makes you want to cry. love is love and it is the most incredible feeling you can ever experience. keep it close to you while you have it and when it’s gone do absolutely everything in your power to get it back no matter what it takes.
